Lion-from-the-North was painted by Edward Blue using acrylic paint on a 26” x 28 ¾” canvas. The male lion is forcefully coming from the top left, bounding to the bottom right, and in an attack mode. Half of the surface area is His golden-brown mane flowing in the direction of the pounce. His face is where your eyes first go when you see the art, as they are intense; mean, deep, focused with a yellow fixed stare. His mouth is wide open with fangs front and center, surrounded by his white whiskers. You also see his paws, with claws out ready to do damage. He is defiantly aggressively in the air to devour his victim in just fast fractions of a second.
